I’m very pleased to release 5 new greeting cards for 2025. They all feature birds… seems to be quite a common theme here! …. but one also has a MAMMAL! Yay how exciting. And a marine mammal at that.

All cards are $4.60 each, printed in Australia on recycled stock, and include a recycled paper envelope.

Above is the ‘Eastern Spinebill card’, inspired by the watching an Eastern Spinebill feeding on the Swamp Banksia that grows next to our back deck, one sunny day.

This drawing is also available as a print.

This card is called ‘Honeyeater bath party’ and was inspired by watching a noisy of flock of New Holland Honeyeaters having a bath in Vicotr Harbor, South Australia.

This drawing is also available as a print.

This card was inspired by a flock of 14 Yellow-tailed Black-cockatoos flying over our house in Beechmont in September 2022.

“I hear their cries first.
Black-Cockatoos drift, wingbeats slow.
Trailing tails, and joy.”

This drawing is also available as a print.

For all of you Glossy Black-cockatoo tragics – you know who you are – I’ve made another Glossy card. Because there never can be too many Glossy Black-cockatoos in the world…

This card was inspired by a trip I made to a tiny island off Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, to monitor Australian Sea lions. It shows the Australian Sea-Lion, Cape Barren Goose (with nest) and Bush Stone-Curlew, all of which seemed to be happily co-existing on the island.
