Venue: Forest Glade Gardens, Mount Macedon Road, Mount Macedon, Victoria

Nature journaling is the practice of drawing or writing in response to nature. It’s fun and relaxing, it helps you to connect with nature, and the result is your own unique nature journal. The practice calms your mind and increases your attention to detail and appreciation of beauty. Worried that you can’t draw or write? No problem! In this workshop you’ll learn simple exercises that will help allay your fears and get those creative juices flowing.

Please bring along an unlined notebook and a 2B pencil and/or permanent ink fineliner pen, and a chair or rug to sit on. Dress for being outdoors, i.e. hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, insect repellent if needed. BYO drinks and snacks, and other favorite art materials if you like. Colour pencils, watercolour pencils and watercolour paints will be available to try on the day.

This workshop is intended for ages 15 and above. Interested kids 10 years and over are also welcome, if accompanied by an adult. Maximum class size is 20 people.

Cancellation and refunds will only be allowed up to Friday 20th March 2020.

Dr Paula Peeters is an ecologist, artist and writer, and has been teaching nature journaling since 2016.
