The Woonoongoora Nature Journal Group meets once a month at Binna Burra, Lamington National Park, Queensland. The group is for people interested in observing and responding to nature through drawing and writing. Sessions are free, you just have to bring along your own curiosity, good humour and something to write and/or draw with.

We will meet at the trail head near the Lamington Tea House and picnic area. We’ll discuss if we want to explore a particular theme or technique on the day, or just go for a wander and see what sparks our interest. Then people can pursue their own observing/writing/drawing activity for an hour or so. Then we get together and share, as a group, over a cuppa and morning tea/lunch.

Woonoongoora is the Yugambeh name for Lamington National Park.
