Looking for a workshop venue in northern NSW

A sound map of birds in my garden. A sound map is an abstract representation of sounds. It doesn’t need to have pictures of what is making the sound, but I couldn’t help myself!

Do you know of a group in northern NSW that would like to host a nature journaling workshop? Or even just a suitable venue that might be available? I’ll be traveling down from Beechmont to Armidale, NSW, in late February / early March 2020, so I could visit any place bounded by Armidale / Coffs Harbour / Glenn Innes / Bryon Bay in this time.

All I need is a little bit of nature (garden, park, protected area, etc); some shade/shelter from the elements; a couple of large tables; and toilets are always appreciated :). My most popular ‘Introduction to Nature Journaling’ workshop is 2 hours duration, but I can offer longer or more specialized workshops on request.

So please get in touch using the contact form below if you’re interested in hosting such an event, or know of a good venue.

Our pool-converted-into-a-pond is a great delight. Maybe tonight I’ll get out there with a head torch and try to draw the frogs!

The Mt Macedon Nature Journaling workshop is now sold out. At least one more nature journaling workshop in Victoria will be announced soon.

If you’re in Brisbane, come along to Boondall Wetlands this Sunday morning to celebrate World Wetlands Day. I’ll be there with a drop-in nature journaling activity and my market stall. I’d love to see you there!

Drop-in nature journaling in the Gold Coast Botanic Gardens last year, including the giant nature journal page created by participants.
